James Rober, miners employed at the penn Gas No. 3 Mine, of the Penn Gas
Coal Company, were arrested, charged with taking down and passing a danger
signal. Defendants were given a hearing February 29, 1908 and held
for court. On May 14, 1908 the grand jury found a true bill against
them. They pleaded guilty, and the court sentenced each to pay a fine
of five dollars and the costs.)
