A Slope Mine, located on the Little Sewickley Creek, 1/2 mi. east of Herminie, on the north side of the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks in the vicinity of Arona, Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA
Owners: (ca.1898-1902) Sewickley Gas Coal Company, Greensburg, PA
(ca.1903-1920) Keystone Coal & Coke Company, Greensburg, PA
[Mine was merged with Keystone Shaft Mine, June 1, 1920]
